a. What have you learned so far from the health class workshops?
I have learned that all kinds of drugs are bad for you because they have chemicals.
b. What information has been useful to you?
The one with the Crystal. That drug is really dangerous. Like, super dangerous. I've never done it but I have friends that does it.
c. How can we improve these workshops?
By having people that have gone through this and tell us how was it to go through because that would help us not to do it oh, and will encorage us.

I totally, agree with Mr. Chang becuase that is true our school is being wathced by our neighbors and we have to show respect.

If I see students doing things you don't supposed to, then I'll them not to do it.

By putting harsh disciplines on students.
a. From this article, why do you think these students dropped out of high school?
I think this students dropout because they had personal problems, like: somegirls had a baby and they couldn't finished it, guys were in gangs, drugs, or they didn't care.
b. Which students in this article do you find most interesting? Why?
I found the Beast intresting because after all he did to do anything, until graduation.
c. Based on what you read, what are the major differences between Birmingham High School and Animo Venice?
The ajor differences is that Birmingham High School has alot of students and Animo doesn't. Another major is that they have to get all the students to graduate and Animo has to do a little work. And Finally another major is that in Birmingham High there's fights and in Animo that I know there hasn't been no fight.

Hey, I'm parto of the "Outsiders" and I'm here to talk about how I want my experince to be at Animo Venice CHS. Well, I really hope that I can meet new friends. I also hope to get along with everyone cause I don't like fighting and arguing with people, I just don't reqally. Well, also I hope finally to get good grades and graduate with Honors. Tha's it!!

The first thing that I found intresting was that their were alot of dropouts in Birghmann High School. The second thing was that the more students transferred in the less likely they had to graduate. The third thing was that for many students failure was a personal problem, like this caused drugs, pregnancies and alot more.

It's such a big deal because you will have to take care of your own self, work for money and to eat. The article says that many students didn't want to dropout but because of not graduating they dropped out. The page # 3. It's a big deal for society because they have to work more with
students and the school doesn't get alot of money.

Yes, some of the friends that I have, are dropouts. Some of their reasons were because they had to-their grades, too lazy to work at school, want tobe in a gang instead, and beause they don't like school.

They don't like going to school.
e. What can Animo Venice do to help you graduate from high school and go to college?
Well, for me nothing because I know I'm going to graduate but for the other students teach them more and make them do more work so that they can get used to do it.

The picture that I selected was the one in where a girl was laying down because she was sick and her teacher let her take a nap in class and then at the end of the day she finished her computer assignment. (this was at her computer class. ) This picture shows a girl being sick and taking a nap. Later in June she graduated and got her diploma.
b. Why did you choose that picture? How do you feel about the picture?
I choose that picutre because it was showing a girl being and not letting herself stop from graduating. I feel really motivated to continue doing good at school. I feel glad I'm at this school because it has help me alot.

a. How did I do my first semester at Animo Venice?
I did really good, but their was only one problem for this class I did bad.
b. What classes were easy for me and why?
For me my easiest classes were science,algebra,english,spanish,read 180a. They were easy because I knew what to do.

My hardest class was technology because I was like lazy, I don't even know why my class was hard. I think I made it hard.

Well, hello my winter vacation was alright.Let me tell you my story. Well, my school,we got off at 3:40 p.m. on Thursday 22nd of December. I went to my house and like I go to church and I have choir practice cause I'm in the choir. So I went there. Then on Friday the next day I was very sleeppy. So I woked up like around 12:00 p.m., yup that's true I wake up like that. Well, I went to the church like around 7:00 p.m. because it starts at 7:30 p.m. After that we were doing like a Christmas Service, so all the youth was gonna do a drama. So we did it and of course I was in one of the scenes. Oh, our drama was about how Jesus was born. That happend and then on Sunday we had to come cause they were giving free gifts to all the kids. Well, later that week we went shpping and we spent around 1,000 dollars. Can you believe it? I know I cant believe it either but yeah.Well, later I celebrated new years with my friends,family and church at the same time. That's it for today!!
